Application of frequency converter for pipe belt conveyor under different working conditions


According to different load types, its torque characteristics are different, so it should be match with different frequency converters. Pipe belt conveyor is a constant torque load, and its starting torque generally requires about 150% of the rated torque, and its braking torque generally requires 100% of the rated torque. Therefore, the frequency converters selected should have constant torque characteristics, and the starting and braking torques are relatively large.


There are some differences in the use of frequency converter in different working conditions of pipe belt machine. The occasion of single drive is the simplest, mainly considering that the acceleration time of 0-50Hz at start-up can't cause the overcurrent alarm of the power unit, and the shutdown time can't be less than the minimum shutdown time calculated according to the maximum impact force that mechanical parts can bear. When the machine is stopped, free parking or deceleration parking is adopted. If the machine is stopped with high climbing, free parking may lead to backsliding. At this time, it is recommended to use the deceleration function of the frequency converter to reduce the mechanical impact. The deceleration time should not be too fast, which will lead to overvoltage alarm of the power unit.
